Wilfredo
Lam Centre
The Centre is an institution dedicated to the investigation
and diffusion of the visual arts of Asia, Africa, the
Middle East, Latin America and The Caribbean. Its work
are centred mainly in the Third World Countries and in
the diffusion of the work of the Cuban master Wilfredo
Lam.
Another of the Centre functions is to compile and maintain
an information file on visual arts for artists, investigators
and general public. It’s one of the Biennial of
Havana sponsors, where it develops exhibitions, workshops
and encounters between artists of the Third World.
