Pharmaceutical
Museum
Located on the Arms Square, the Old French Pharmacy founded
on 1882 became the Pharmaceutical Museum in 1964. It still
conserves the instruments used towards the end of the
19th century for the processing of the medicinal plants
to obtain the active principles of the remedies.
Among the treasures exposed in the museum, are the jars
and porcelain bottles collections, prescriptions registries,
as well as a complete series of utensils, labels, tools,
formulas and drugs, intact in spite of their antiquity,
and a firewood operated brick furnace used in the laboratory.
