Oscar
Maria de Rojas Museum
Founded on 1900, is one of the oldest museums of the island,
and is dedicated to the history of the city of Cárdenas.
It has an important collection of snails, butterflies
and other insects, as well as of colonial weapons. Among
the curiosities in exhibition are two fleas dressed in
dance suits, a pistol camouflaged like a pen source pertaining
to the Nazi spy Lunin, captured in Havana in 1942, and
a funeral car of the 19th century.
