Guamuhaya
Archaeological Museum
Located in a beautiful Rococo building, this museum offers
to the visitors a panorama of prehistoric Cuba, from the
pre-Columbian times until the conquest. Guamuhaya is the
name that the natives gave to the mountain range at whose
feet the city of Trinidad is located. The myth says that
the museum rises on the land that occupied the house inhabited
by Hernán Cortéz before embarking for the
conquest of Mexico.
Simon Bolivar no. 457,
